Phew, Is How I Would Put It

What makes December and January special is that it is the beginning and the ending of what we term as a whole.

Why don’t we reflect on our lives, say in March or May? Or even July?

That said; I am glad December is over and January is here. December has always meant a violent slew of assaulting family gathering and rushed holidays. No wonder they say December is the month where many fall victim to depression. Maybe it is just me getting old, considering that December of 07 was spent selfishly for myself, and that December of 08 was destined to be an organized mess.

So, welcome January of 09, even though it means I will be another year older. Blah! I have a luxurious spa voucher to bumper any rough corners. Hello to January, even though it means it is another month closer to leaving, even if it means it is another season of endless baking and eating…
